Some days I weep for the girl who had her spirit broken & trampled on.
Some days I weep for the girl who was sent to bed hungry.
Some days I weep for the girl who lost her sister.
Some days I weep for the girl who was left alone with those big emotions.
Some days I weep for the girl who deserved so much better.
Some days I weep for the girl who suffered her abuse in silence.
Some days I weep for the girl who didn’t understand why she wasn’t loved.
Some days I weep for the girl who thought it was all her fault.
Some days I weep for the girl who tried everything to be loved.
Some days I weep for the good girl.
Some days I weep for the woman who is healing all those wounds.
Some days I weep for me.
I weep for my country America that has a tyrannical president destroying our democracy, disrespecting our Constitution & ignoring human rights.
